Victorian Terrace
Notting Hill
This Scandinavian-inspired home located on a quiet, tree-lined street in Notting Hill was conceived for a private client by renowned architect Michaelis Boyd Associates, while the interior is the work of Elle Decoration’s favorite Louise Holt. The result, a series of welcoming and calm, light-filled spaces ideally suited to modern living, is a testament to a rewarding collaborative relationship between the homeowner, design team, and ACT Developments.
Downshire Hill Townhouse
Hampstead
Nestled next to Hampstead Heath, this property is a conversion of a three-bedroom townhouse into a spacious two-bedroom home. Designed by James Lambert Architecture, ACT Developments was able to create seamless joinery and interior finishes. The clever use of mirror features reflects the outdoor space, accentuated by the vibrant, bold statements throughout the home.
Mews House
Bayswater
According to ACT Developments, it was a pleasure to work on this project alongside Nash Baker Architects and Louise Holt Interior Design. The front and rear facade structures of this property were removed at the ground floor level enabled by an extensive temporary works scheme to hold up the house while installing the new structures and facades below. Flushed doors and shadow gap skirtings accompanied by whitewashed oak and large format tiles created a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing home.
The client sought to combine the kitchen, living, and dining rooms into a single space that was suitable for modern family living. They brought a simple, contemporary aesthetic to the period home, maximizing natural daylight and connections to the terrace and garden. Working with StateStudio, ACT Developments created a clean and contemporary ‘open’ room with subtly varying glazed openings and niches articulating the 3 core functions within the open plan.
