Celebrity Kids Bedrooms – First Look at Phoebe Burgess’ Nursery ⇒ She welcomed her second child with NRL star Sam Burgess earlier this month. And less than two weeks after her son William’s birth, Phoebe Burgess (née Hooke) has revealed the luxury nursery she’s prepared for her infant. In a series of cheeky photographs, the 29-year-old journalist showed off her flawless design talents.
No expense was spared for her little prince, with the football WAG handpicking a beautiful wooden cot by Kalon Studios. The ‘heirloom quality’ convertible crib is handmade in the USA and is worth approximately $2,300.
Phoebe has created a warm and inviting environment for her baby son, opting for traditional linen drapes worth $445 to frame the cot. The room also features an arrangement of plush toys, with the centrepiece being a ‘grandpa octopus’ which retails for $289. A $260 ride-on toy car was also ‘parked’ alongside the crib.
Meanwhile, Phoebe also styled the nursery with throw cushions worth $115. Decorating the wooden cot with a selection of expensive linens, Phoebe opted for the Dentelle Knit Blanket, which retails for around $120. The mother-of-two kept to a neutral colour palette featuring white wallpaper featuring a silver star pattern.
Phoebe told fans she had a lot of fun designing her son’s room, adding that her favourite pieces were the ride-on car and octopus toy. ‘Loving the start of our colour palette,’ she captioned the gallery of photos on Instagram. ‘Oh, and Henry the octopus is a firm favourite!’ Earlier this month, Phoebe took to Instagram to announce the arrival of her son.
In the announcement photo, Phoebe and her husband Sam, 30, cradled the newborn in a hospital bed. She captioned the heartwarming snap: ‘William “Billy” Mark Burgess. Born 9th December 2018, 4.22kg. ‘Welcome to our world little big man.’
