Since the news of the latest royal birth, the couple (and Kensington Palace) has been pretty hush-hush on any details surrounding the royal baby. The prince’s name hasn’t been revealed yet, but — given that this is Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s second boy — there are a few details we can glean about the baby’s nursery. Here’s what it will probably look like. Here’s what we should expect so far from Kate Middleton and Prince William Nursery Room.

Neutrals will Reign
Considering Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s nurseries have had roughly the same colour scheme — and that the newest prince’s sex wasn’t revealed until his birth — it’s a safe bet the nursery sticks to neutral tones too. Imagine a bright, light-filled room with mostly white and cream furniture and a few blue accents (AKA most parents’ worst nightmare, the first time they have to clean the baby’s spit-up).
It will be almost timeless
The Duchess of pastels, power pumps, and sensible shift dresses isn’t going to go all Paw Patrol in her kid’s room. “Kate’s decorating style is actually very similar to her dressing style,” confirmed royal expert Victoria Murphy back in 2013. “She likes very simple, very classic, very elegant things.”

White Whicker
Just before Prince George was born, the Duchess of Cambridge was snapped buying a white wicker Moses basket for the baby to sleep in. Then, when Charlotte was a baby, the princess was photographed sitting on a tiny white wicker chair. It fits with the neutral, classic theme, so expect to see even more of it this time around.
Upscale Furniture
That aforementioned Moses basket came from Blue Almonds, an upscale children’s furniture shop in London. Middleton’s been spotted shopping there in the past with her mom, Carole.
Swaddle Swag
Middleton’s known for sticking to classics without looking frumpy or old-fashioned, and that holds true even for her go-to baby shawl. Both of their children made their first public appearances wrapped in a chic, scalloped-edge wool blanket from G.H. Hurt & Son, so it’s a safe bet baby No. 3’s nursery will be outfitted with at least one, too. The company’s been making lace shawls for more than 100 years.
