Open, raw, flexible workspace for creative and collaborative tenants is not always available in Manhattan. But the demand for such space is growing. So when it came to 799 Broadway, located in the vibrant neighborhood of Greenwich Village, Normandy Real Estate Partners challenged us to innovate: Design a next-generation office building that will meet the needs of tomorrow’s tech and creative workforce.

Swarovski New York Showroom And Office

Since 1895, Swarovski has pioneered passion and creativity through its faceted collections. Perkins + Will’s journey with this coveted brand began when they were challenged to create a space that doubles as a showroom and office. The unique function requires visitors and employees to constantly interact with the products while balancing storage, accessibility, and display needs.

Viacom Multi-Floor Buildout

When you get the chance to partner with Viacom, a leading global entertainment firm, you know it will be an exciting project. Viacom’s mission is to “…create entertainment experiences that drive conversation and culture.” And they took this principle and applied it to their employee’s workspaces with creative collaboration at the core. Perkins + Will’s workplace design team jumped right in drawing influences from iconic NYC loft spaces and working with Viacom’s design standards to create a space that celebrated their brands as well as embraced the exterior views offered at 1515 Broadway.
