TPG Architecture: Luxury Interior Design Projects
Amaffi
Found in prestigious locations worldwide, Amaffi makes its debut in New York City with its first perfume house on Billionaires’ Row. Staying true to the brand’s philosophy, “We are Amaffi. We are here to set the bar high,” TPG Architecture collaborated with Amaffi to create a façade and store design that establishes a strong and unique presence on 57th Street in Midtown.
Microtel Moda by Wyndham
TPG Architecture was enlisted by Wyndham Hotel and Resorts to design a new Microtel Moda prototype to help reposition the brand to appeal to a new array of guests and business travelers. The scope of the project provided a unique opportunity for TPG Architecture to design a modern hotel experience that provides guests with a consistent, seamless stay in each location. The design concept is anticipated to be implemented in locations throughout the U.S. and Canada in both three-story and four-story iterations.
Tishman Speyer: Studio Gather
Tishman Speyer is a leading American real estate owner, operator, developer, and fund manager of first-class properties across the world. Since 1996, Tishman Speyer has directed the redevelopment and repositioning of Rockefeller Center—a landmark property and premier destination for world-class shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. In 2018, Tishman Speyer introduced Studio, co-working spaces within their properties that offer elevated workspaces and curated amenities.
In response to the concept’s success, Tishman Speyer developed Studio Gather, a multi-use conferencing center that features elegant furnishings, high-quality technology, onsite staff, and versatile meeting layouts. To see Studio Gather to fruition, TPG Architecture was tapped to design the first iteration of the new amenity space, spanning over 13,000 square feet within Tishman Speyer’s 45 Rockefeller Center global headquarters.
Panerai
Tracing its origins back to 1860 on the Ponte alla Grazie in Florence, Italy, Panerai began as a modest watchmaker’s shop and the city’s first watchmaking school. Since the company has become the official supplier to the Royal Italian Navy and repositioned itself as a luxury watch brand under the Richemont Group. Looking to enter the Hudson Yards market, Panerai selected TPG Architecture to implement the design and construction of the store.
525 West Van Buren
525 West Van Buren is a Class A office tower located in the heart of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. In recent years, the area has undergone a period of urban renewal, led by the redevelopment of the city’s historic Union Station and the long-vacant Post Office. With the region anticipating more attention, TPG Architecture was engaged by the building’s owner to reimagine the building’s lobby presence, keeping in line with the same characteristics as seen in the surrounding, rapid development.
Fragomen
Established in 1951, Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP is a leading international immigration firm that provides services for both corporate and individual clients. For the relocation of their headquarters to Midtown, the firm enlisted TPG Architecture to design a forward-thinking, innovative new legal workspace that promotes their highly collaborative culture. The new office transcends the idea of what the landscape of a modern law firm can achieve.
Piaget
Creativity, attention to detail, and technical excellence are the values that gave Piaget its international reputation and allowed the brand to distinguish itself in the world of fine watchmaking and precision. The company, founded by Georges Edouard Piaget in 1874 is known today for more than its iconic timepieces including innovative, luxury jewelry collections. When it was time to select a site to showcase Piaget’s new store concept, the company chose The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards and awarded TPG Architecture the role of bringing the design to fruition.
Richard Mille
Richard Mille is an eponymous brand of ultra-luxury Swiss watches. Founded in 1999, they are based in Les Breuleux, Switzerland with retail locations in virtually every major city in the world. TPG Architecture worked with the high-end retail client to implement their latest store design concept in a new high-profile, flagship location in the United States. The multi-story location at 432 Park Avenue provides ample space to display exclusive, limited models, showcasing Richard Mille’s technical excellence in horology within luxurious surroundings.
Spotify
As a music, podcast, and video streaming service, Spotify occupies the intersection of the tech, media, and entertainment industries. For its New York Headquarters, the digital service company needed a highly flexible and progressive work environment to align with its workforce.
BlueMountain Capital Management
This private investment firm has offices in New York and London. In 2006, TPG Architecture provided architectural services for BlueMountain’s 125 traders in 22,500 square feet at 280 Park Avenue. Due to rapid growth, the client re-engaged TPG Architecture for an in-building relocation to a 50,000 square foot space on the 12th floor, which was completed in 2014.
